    Base Wire Rope Core

     

    Material: High carbon galvanized steel

    Tensile Strength: 350-550 N/mm² (up to 1,960 MPa available) -7

    Coating: Hot-dip galvanized zinc layer for primary corrosion protection

    Construction Options:

    7×19 – 7 strands × 19 wires per strand: Maximum flexibility, ideal for crane slings and dynamic applications

    6×19-WSC – 6 strands with Wire Strand Core: Certified for lifting slings, complies with EN 12385-4 

    1×19 – Single strand, 19 wires: NOT suitable for lifting slings – stiff construction, bending fatigue risk

    PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

    Corrosion Resistance

    The combination of galvanized steel core and fully encapsulating white PVC coating creates a dual-barrier protection system. In atmospheric, mine water, and seawater environments, service life extends to 3.5–5 times that of conventional galvanized wire rope .

    Abrasion & Wear Protection

    Individual wires and strands are separated by the PVC coating, reducing internal friction. Under dynamic lifting and transport loads, operational life improves by 1.5–2 times compared to uncoated rope .
