Unlike synthetic slings, the steel wire core and outer strands offer outstanding resistance to cutting, scraping, and surface wear when dragged over sharp edges, rough concrete, or steel structures. The loop eyes are reinforced with protective thimbles (optional) to prevent deformation under heavy bearing pressure.

The all-metal structure is not susceptible to UV degradation, mildew, or oil absorption. Routine visual inspection for broken wires, kinks, or corrosion is straightforward, and the sling can be re-certified after re-termination if the main rope body remains sound.
