Mining Winch Steel Wire Rope Assembly

This is a mining winch steel wire rope assembly designed for heavy-duty hoisting operations in mining applications. It consists of three core components:

• Thimble & Welded Shackle Plate (1): A forged steel thimble with a welded shackle plate, providing a secure connection point for load attachment.

• Braided Steel Wire Rope (2): High-tensile steel wire rope formed by braiding two sub-ropes around the thimble.

• Aluminum Sleeve Crimp (3): A pressed aluminum sleeve that permanently secures the rope ends, ensuring mechanical integrity.

1.Material & Strength:

The rope uses NAT 6×19+FC-1670 MPasteel wire, offering high tensile strength and fatigue resistance suitable for harsh mining environments.

2.Safety Assurance:

Designed with a 5× safety factoragainst the 10-tonne rated load, meeting stringent mining safety standards.

3.Structural Integrity:

The thimble is welded to the shackle plate, while the aluminum sleeve crimping (50±10 mm) ensures the rope ends remain securely fastened under dynamic loads.

4.Dimensional Stability:

All dimensions are defined under the rope’s natural, unloaded state to guarantee consistent performance during installation and operation.

This assembly is specifically engineered for mining winch hoisting systems, where reliable load transfer and long service life under cyclic loading are critical. It is compatible with standard mining winch configurations that utilize 12 sub-rope cross-sections, ensuring seamless integration into existing equipment.
