Construction & Manufacturing Process:
Multi-strand Steel Wire Weaving: The core structure is formed by weaving multiple strands of high-strength steel wire into a flexible, tubular mesh sleeve. This woven design provides strength while maintaining flexibility.
Reinforced Traction Design: It features a double-sided traction mechanism. A steel wire rope is threaded through the entire length of the woven sleeve, acting as a central strength member. This allows pulling force to be evenly distributed along the grip.
Semi-open Structure & Installation: The product is semi-open, similar to a cloth wrap. It is designed to be wrapped around the middle section of a cable. Once positioned, the sleeve is tightened and secured onto the cable, gripping it firmly.
Material Options:
Mesh Sleeve Materials: Available in Hot-dip galvanized steel wire (for cost-effectiveness and rust resistance), Stainless Steel 304 (for better corrosion resistance), and Stainless Steel 316 (for superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments like marine or chemical settings).
Compression Connection Parts (Ferrules/Sockets): The ends where the wire rope is secured typically use compression fittings. Options include Aluminum Alloy compression (lightweight), Stainless Steel compression (durable and corrosion-resistant), and Copper Sleeve compression (excellent conductivity and malleability).
Primary Application/Purpose:
It is specifically used in cable installation and construction projects. Its main function is to securely grip the outer jacket of a cable, allowing workers to pull and guide the cable through conduits, ducts, or across structures without damaging the cable itself. The design enables connection and pulling force to be applied at any point along the gripped section of the cable.
Key Features & Advantages:
Excellent Flexibility & Conformity: The soft woven mesh sleeve conforms tightly to various cable diameters, providing a secure and even grip without causing concentrated stress points.
High Strength & Durability: The combination of woven steel wires and an integrated steel wire rope offers high tensile strength, suitable for pulling heavy cables.
Versatile Pulling Point: The integrated steel wire rope allows for a pulling force to be applied at any suitable point along the cable's length, offering flexibility during installation.
Cable Protection: The mesh design grips firmly without excessive pressure, minimizing the risk of crushing or damaging the cable's insulation or outer sheath.
Corrosion Resistance: Depending on the material chosen (especially stainless steel variants), the grip can withstand outdoor or corrosive environments, ensuring a long service life.
Reusable: Typically, these grips can be removed and reused on multiple projects, making them a cost-effective tool.
Material Variety: The availability of different materials for both the mesh and fittings allows users to select the optimal combination based on required strength, environmental conditions, and budget.
