Steel Wire ropes come in diverse structures and specifications, each suited for different application scenarios. Therefore, when selecting a steel wire rope, it is essential to determine the most suitable structural type based on the specific equipment and working environment.

Steel Wire Rope for Rubber Conveyor Belts:
Specifications: 6×19+IWS or 6×7+IWS, with a diameter range of 2mm to 10mm. Requires galvanized treatment, high strength, and low elongation characteristics.

Steel Wire Rope for Automobiles and Various Mechanical Devices:
Includes control wire ropes, with diverse specifications such as 1×7, 1×19, 1×37, and 6×19+IWS.

Steel Wire Rope for Automotive Power Windows:
Recommended structures: 6×7+IWS or 8×7+1×19. 

Steel Wire Rope for Elevators and High-Speed Elevators:
Must meet specific strength and wear resistance requirements, with structures such as 8×19S+NF and 8×19S+8×7+1W19.

Linear Contact Steel Wire Rope for Inclined Shaft Winches:
6×19S linear contact steel wire ropes can be paired with round strand steel wire ropes such as 6×7 or 6×19.  

Endless Rope Haulage:
Endless rope haulage includes steel wire rope belt conveyors and cableway traction. For such applications, round strand steel wire ropes such as 6×7 or 6×19 are recommended. Linear contact steel wire ropes such as 6×19S can also be considered.

Steel Wire Rope for Open-Pit Mine Slope Winches:
For linear contact steel wire ropes, 6×36WS+FC and 6×36WS+IWR are suitable choices. For round strand steel wire ropes, the 6×37 specification is recommended.

Blast Furnace Hoisting:
Blast furnace hoisting requires linear contact steel wire ropes with high strength and wear resistance, such as 6×19S+IWR and 6×19S+FC. Round strand steel wire ropes, such as 6×19 or 6×37, can also be used.

Various Cable Cars:
Various cable cars include vehicles for horizontal or inclined traction. For such applications, linear contact steel wire ropes such as 6×19S+IWR and 6×19S+FC, as well as round strand steel wire ropes such as 6×7, 6×19, and 6×37, are applicable.

Aviation, Critical Machinery, and Instruments:
The aviation field requires galvanized steel wire ropes, such as 1×7, 1×19, and 6×7+NF, to ensure corrosion resistance and strength.

Steel Wire Rope for Various Lifting Machinery:
For various lifting machinery, including double-drum hoists, port handling equipment, and tower cranes, linear contact steel wire ropes such as 6×19S and 6×19W, as well as round strand steel wire ropes such as 6×19 and 6×37, are commonly used. Ship Mast Tensioning and Suspension Bridges (Galvanized):
Round strand steel wire ropes with specifications such as 7×7 and 7×19 are suitable for ship mast tensioning and suspension bridge applications.

Sunken Ship Salvage (Galvanized):
For sunken ship salvage, round strand steel wire ropes with specifications such as 6×37 or 8×37 are recommended.

Fishing Trawls (Galvanized, 10-44mm):
For linear contact steel wire ropes, the 6×24S+FC structure is a suitable choice. Round strand steel wire ropes such as 6×19, 6×24+7FC, and 6×12+7FC can also be used for fishing trawls.

Core for Hemp-Covered Steel Wire Rope (Galvanized Single Strand):
For the core of hemp-covered steel wire ropes, a galvanized single-strand steel wire rope with a specification of 1×19 is recommended.

Salt Wells (Galvanized):
For salt well operations, round strand steel wire ropes with a specification of 7×7 can meet the requirements.

Lashing Ropes:
Lashing ropes can use structures such as 6×12+7FC, 6×15+7FC, 6×18+7FC, or 6×24+7FC to ensure binding firmness and safety.
